Welcome to the USAF Academy’s Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP). The Air Force’s EFMP is designed to provide support to military family members with special needs. EFMP is comprised of three components who work together to support military members and their families.
EFMP-FS provides a community support function provided by the Military & Family Readiness Center (M&FRC) which includes: on and off base information and referral, parent training, support resources, school information, and activities for adults and families.
Provides medical information management support for EFMP enrollment functions and coordinates relocations for families who have medical or educational needs.
Provides comprehensive medical and assignment coordination for families enrolled in EFMP.
Please contact the M&FRC at 719-333-3444 to learn more about the resources available to you as an EFMP family to include respite care, give parents a break certificates and community support resources.
