Please contact Tricare (See “Helpful Numbers”) to have your dependent added in Tricare under the program.
Dependents can be under Tricare Young Adult from the ages of 21-26. A dependent cannot be on Tricare Young Adult and a full time student for benefits.
If a member is a full-time student from age 21-23, the member must contact the DEERS office to provide the dependent’s graduation date. After, the sponsor will contact Tricare to enroll the dependent in Tricare Young Adult from age 23-26.
