Farish Recreation Area welcomed visitors for a vibrant, family-friendly event on Saturday, marking the official start of its 2025 season. The celebration featured live music from Brightenstar, bounce houses, games, kayaking, paddle boarding, delicious food and more, offering fun for all ages.

The scenic recreation area officially opened for the season on May 16 and provides a range of outdoor experiences, including cabin rentals, campsites and day passes for those eager to explore its hiking trails and fishing spots.
