 Denver Museum
Aug 17; 5–10 pm. Join us for a night-time Scavenger Hunt at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science! Which team can find
all the hidden elves? Have you uncovered the 9 Colorado State symbols? Compete to identify scenes from our National Parks! Discover something new and impress your (nerdy) friends.
Cost: $19.
Dutch Oven Cooking Class
Aug 19; 5:30–9 pm. Want to cook in a Dutch oven, but don’t know where to start? Maybe you just want to make some new friends, or maybe you were just hungry when you read this. Whatever works. Be the envy of the campground, learn proper heat management technics and some great recipes. We will cook up an entire meal. The best part, we sit down and eat your work at the end of class! Class is limited to 8 ovens, so sign up early. Class and recipes are planned as if you were camping, so cook times are 30 – 60 minutes long and ingredients are camping friendly. (Dutch Ovens, and All food included) Cost $25 per oven and you can bring one guest for free.
Outdoor Laser Tag
Aug 21; Meet at FamCamp noon-2:30 pm. Outdoor Laser Tag units use a harmless invisible infrared beam that shoots 1000+ ft at the speed of light with zero drop. You are not going to dodge this like you can a paintball! Our field is huge with lots of trees, rocks, bushes, barrels and palettes to use as cover. We will set up a variety of games that will test your individual skills and how well you work together as a team. Meet at USAFA FamCamp. Cost: $13.50/person for a 150 minute session, 10 person minimum,
20 person maximum. Includes refs and needed gear for ages nine and over. Contact us early for availability and booking. Also bookings for a Special Group Arrangement (SGA) are available for friends, units, team building activities, birthdays and more. Contact us early for availability and booking.
Adult CPR Class
Aug 28; 9 am–3 pm w/ 1/2 lunch break.Get your American Red Cross Adult / Child CPR, AED and First Aid Certification with
Certified Red Cross Instructors. We teach Adult / Child CPR, AED and First Aid, rescue breathing, procedures for choking victims and more 1st aid training. Our goal is to teach you the skills so that in the event of an emergency you will have the skills and confidence to assist someone in need. Cert is good for two years. Cost is only $75/person!
American Red Cross Adult/Child CPR, AED, & First
Aid Recertification
Recertify your American Red Cross Adult/Child CPR, AED, and First Aid. This is a hybrid recertification course and includes
a three-hour online training and two-hour skills test. Online training link will be sent to you one week prior to the scheduled skills test and must be completed before attending the skills class. Registration will close one week prior to the scheduled skills test. You must be able to provide proof of previous certification and not exceed expiration of certification by more than 30 days. Cost: $50 per person. Contact ODR for course information.
 SPECIAL GROUP ARRANGEMENTS
If you would like us to put together an activity just for you let us know. A birthday, squadron activity, family reunion, church group or more. Maybe outdoor laser tag, climbing, biking, rafting or almost any of the many activities we offer can be
set up around your wishes (with enough notice). Contact your Outdoor Adventure Programmers and let’s set something up.

Keep your eye out for our short notice activities that you will not see in our regular advertising. Usually only a week or two notice of what activity will be. Contact the cashier and tell them to add you to the Pop Up list and then watch for e-mails from outdoorrecreation
OAP VOLUNTEERS WANTED
If you are interested in volunteering your time to help us with rafting, cycling, climbing, kayaking, hiking, or any other trips we offer, give us a call and we will tell you how to become an official OAP volunteer!

High Risk Activities Worksheet (AF 4391) is required to participate in ANY high risk activity, for ALL Active Duty Personnel. It is required to be completed by Active Duty Personnel before they participate in most of our Outdoor Adventure Programs and submitted to their Commander. RESERVATIONS POLICY: 90 days in advance for active duty personnel, 60 days in advance for retirees and DoD civilians, VHIC and 30 days in advance for AOG members. Customers are authorized to make reservations a year in advance for large events that require at least 50% of the lodging
units. These groups will ONLY be scheduled Sundays to Thursdays, no weekends. Weekend use is intended for family resiliency and is limited to a maximum of two units per household. Call 719-687-9098 for more information.
