BLUE & SILVER COURSES
A Robert Trent Jones Sr. Original
As the only original Robert Trent Jones Sr. design in Colorado, the Blue course stands alone. The fairways wind their way through majestic ponderosa pines and offer stunning views of the Rocky Mountains. The Blue course has played host to a number of prestigious tournaments over the years, including Shells Wonderful World of Golf featuring Sam Snead and Jimmy Demeret, the 1991 Cannon Cup with an all-star field of future tour players, headed by a young Tiger Woods, the annual Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational Division 1 college tournament to name just a few.
Stretching over 7500 yards in length, this one-of-a-kind gem will challenge the best golfers in the world but can accommodate golfers of all levels. The courses at Eisenhower are situated in the middle of the world-famous United States Air Force Academy where every year, up to a thousand young men and women graduate to become officers in the United States Air Force. Previously voted by Golf and Leisure magazine as the number one ranked military course in the world, the Blue course has appeared in golf digest’s list of top 100 courses in the United States. Needless to say Eisenhower’s famed Blue course is one-of-a-kind.
A Course by Frank Hummel
Eisenhower Golf Club Silver course first opened for play in 1975. The course was designed by Frank Hummel, who designed over 20 outstanding courses in the mountain west states. Widely regarded as the more scenic course of the two, the silver is a demanding golf course with a premium placed on accuracy rather than length. The course measures 6,519 yards from the championship tees and 5,215 from the forward tee.
You will use every club in your bag on this great course. You won’t see a house on either course, just pure golf. The Silver gives golfers great views of the Rockies as well as the famed Air Force Academy where each year, up to a thousand young men and women graduate to become officers in the United States Air Force. Like the Blue course, the greens are where your score is made or lost, each hole has gravity defying putts but the birdies are out there if you play it smart. Risk reward best defines the Silver. In 2021, the Silver played host to its first ever Division 1 collegiate tournament.
Regardless of which course you play, your experience will be unique, between the beauty and the courses, you can’t go wrong. Eisenhower also offers a wide variety of menu options for your all your food needs as well as a full service bar and restaurant. Thank you for considering Eisenhower Golf Club to host your event.
